Access to the Configuration > General parameters (PL021) menu.
Introduction
The general parameters of SoftExpert Action plan must be configured to define the default behavior of records in the system.

Configuring the general parameters
1. Access the Configuration > General parameters (PL021) menu.
2. In the Action section, fill out the Number of days to consider action execution is close to due date field. This field defines the deadline by which execution tasks will be considered close to due date. If it is not filled out, the number of days will be counted as 0.
3. In the Calculation of the due date of actions and plans in the execution step section, check the desired option:
Consider only end date: The system will calculate the due date of the action that will be executed considering only the end date planned for it.
Consider start and end date: The system will calculate the due date of the action that will be executed considering the start and end dates planned for it.
4. In the Allow retroactive dates during section, enable the desired options:
Planning
Enabled: It will be possible to establish retroactive dates when planning actions and action plans.
Disabled: It will not be possible to establish retroactive dates when planning actions and action plans.
Execution
Enabled: It will be possible to establish retroactive dates when executing actions.
Disabled: It will not be possible to establish retroactive dates when executing actions.
5. Other options can be configured in the general parameters menu:
Complementary options
Allow only responsible user for action plan/action to delete record
Enabled: The logged user can delete actions/action plans under their responsibility.
Disabled: The logged user may only delete the records they have permission to "List" in its security and in the security of the category to which they belong.
Clear the executed dates of the plan action when rejecting its verification
Enabled: The execution dates will be deleted from the fields when rejecting the verification of an action.
Disabled: When rejecting the verification of an action, the execution dates will be maintained.
Use hours and minutes in actions and plans
Enabled: The Time field will be displayed in the actions and plans screens. Its completion will be mandatory.
Disabled: The Time field will not be displayed in the actions and plans screens.
Consider hours and minutes to calculate the deadline
Enabled: The system will also consider the hours and minutes entered in the Time field of the actions and plans screens.
Disabled: The system will not consider the hours and minutes entered in the Time field of the actions and plans screens.
This field will only be available if the Use hours and minutes in actions and plans option is enabled.
Block the selection of responsible parties when they do not have permission in the respective menus
Enabled: The system will not list users without permission to the planning and tracking menus in the Responsible for planning and Responsible for action plan fields.
Disabled: The system will list users even without permission to the aforementioned menus. Users can be selected as responsible.
Consider the current date for calculating actions under execution with a percentage of 100%
Enabled: The system will compare the planned date with the current date to determine if the action is on time or past due.
Disabled: The system will compare the planned date with the actual date to determine if the action is on time or past due.
Require explanation when changing action dates
Enabled: The system will require the completion of an explanation when editing the planned dates of a plan action or an isolated action in the execution step. The explanation will be displayed as a comment in the action history.
Disabled: The system will not require the completion of an explanation when editing the planned dates of a plan action or an isolated action in the execution step.
Block manual date changes after the planning step
Enabled: It will not be possible to edit the dates of actions. The user that wishes to postpone an action must create an action replanning request in SoftExpert Request, which will follow its approval flow.
Disabled: Both plan and action dates can be edited by the user even after planning, as long as the user has access to the Tracking (PL006) menu.
6. Click on the button to save the parameterization.

Thus, the defined parameterization will be used in SoftExpert Action plan records.
